Based in the heart of Wellington, Fingo was founded in 2007 and provides services for the Social Sector, with a focus on case management, public sector funding and contracting, and data sharing and privacy.

We are looking for a Developer to join us permanently, working with a close-knit, welcoming team who provide services around case management and other Java-based systems. The team has a passion for modernising and supporting legacy systems through to their graceful retirement, and embraces DevOps.
You will report to our Service Lead and provide development support for one of our long-standing clients who provide critical services for Aotearoa New Zealand. These large enterprise systems are complex, and the work is rewarding.
There is a strong body of knowledge available, along with a strong focus on culture and values. We are open to considering Java developers with differing levels of experience.

We are looking for people with:
- JEE development experience
- Secure coding practices
- An understanding of DevOps tools and ways of working
- The ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- A light-hearted perspective while remaining committed to maintaining high standards
